When I was a little child, I wish I would have a beautiful younger sister than younger brother. I can take care of her carefully, pick her up to go everywhere she like, wear beautiful dresses and tell many funny stories. In contrast, I have a younger brother. Although I can’t take care of him like a girl but I love him so much. We have the same hobbies, but also have some different things in thinking.
My younger brother and I like to travel over the world. We love wonderful and romantic scenes, want to discover many new things. We will have more knowledge about new countries, traditions, customs…. I would like to go Japan, Korean, China, and Australia because I can enjoy all the delicious food like in a film, wears Kimono that I used to admire so much. That is wonderful. Similarly, my younger brother would like to go England, Germany. There are many famous football term and football player he likes. So, traveling over the world is the best dream of us.
Beside the same hobbies, we have some different. I have a lot of best friend in school or outside. I usually go out with friend or have a picnic on weekend. I and my friend spend most of the time to exchange information about study, family, life….. I think it is very useful for me to feel more comfortable and confident. Moreover, I can get more friends to enrich my life. But my younger brother is not friendly. He always stays at home and plays with a small dog. When he wants to go somewhere, he finds out information on internet and invites me to go together. He likes to go with me than his friends. So, I’m always a good friend of him.
The same hobbies help us become more friendly and understanding. Without differences, we always love each other.

Part-time job

More and more students are doing part-time job today. Part-time job is a part of the student’s life not only helps them earn some money but also can get useful working experiences and learn the value of labor.
There are many advantages for student to have a part-time job. A part-time job brings students more money and helps them to reduce their parents’ economic burdens. Students have many choice to find a suitable for a job such as : tutor, selling, tour guide…. Working part-time job give students a lot of opportunity to know more of social and build up themselves-confident. Because they will contact of with many different kinds of people and learn a lot of knowledge from them to practice their sociable abilities, which are of great help to their future careers. For example, when student become a tutor, they will meet a small family, contact and communicate together to more understand about family, study….However, some people say that part-time job brings some disadvantages to the students. Because it may affect their studies, relax and sleep if they spend all time to work and come back with tiredness. And as a result, their studies are going down. In my opinion, the student should keep a balance between study and the job to have a best result in their future careers.
Part-time job give the student some advantages and disadvantages. But, we should encourage them to have a good job and best attitude working. A good part-time job will enrich their life

My house

A year ago, I came to Saigon to continue studying at university. There are so many interesting things to see and explore in Saigon. But, this was the first time; I lived far away my family and always felt homesick. Now, a year went by, I was came back to spend my summer holiday.
My hometown is far from Saigon and I spent more 8 hours by the train. On the way home, I was very glad at the prospect of seeing my family. When I was in front of the house, I recognized familiar road, an old big tree and some kids were playing game.My family said: “What a wonderful surprise” when they looked me and hugged me so strong. My father said that I had become a real student and a beautiful girl. It was the happiest time I came back my house. I was very surprised to find that almost everything had been changed. The living room has a large TV, some new sofas. It looked so neat and tidy. My room was more beautiful with a new bad, some nice chairs and family’s picture hanged on the wall. While my father was cooking dinner, my little brother and I were relating all what had happened during a year. I realized that I miss my family so much. Later, we went down to the dining room where a nice meal was ready for us. My father said: “you must eat so much after a long journey”. I was enjoying a meal with happy and close feeling.
After returning my dormitory, I realized that no place like home. My home is the best place I feel peaceful and comfortable. I’m looking forward to the next summer holiday to return my house.

my secret place

Each of us has a secret place for ourselves. That is a place we can relax, enjoy the life after hard working hours and the burdens of life. It cans a coffee shop, a small garden in front of the house, a river… To me, whenever tired with working and studying, I usually walk into the park to recover a peace of my mind.
I usually walk into the park at the weekend. At that time, everyone seems to have a better feeling and comfortable mood. The weather is quite cool and the fresh air on the Sunday afternoon. Everything is peaceful and silent. I walk around the big trees and sit down under the shadow. The vivid green of grass has a refreshing feeling effect on my eyes. The flowers are opening with the pink and white colors. It is so lovely with their green background. Some benches around me are gradually occupied by people. There are many people consisting of single persons, couples or dancing groups… A man is listening to a beautiful melody of his favorite songs. A young couple is whispering soft with their stories. In the middle of the park, there is a pool with the status of Hercules in the center, spouting up and down water, all day and night. It is a wonderful scene to enjoy.
In the park, I feel better to relax and discover everything around me that I rarely care of in my life. And it makes me get over stress of hard studying.

Living in modern life, people seem to be busier with their life and career, so they tend to go out for meals at restaurants or food shops. However, I still prefer to come home, prepare and enjoy my own meals.

My childhood have many wonderful memories about the beach. The first time I saw the beach, I have a wonderful feeling in my eyes, especially when the sun rises in the east. The sun seemed to be brighter delivering the light everywhere. I always went to the beach to swim and enjoy the fresh air. On the weekend, I and my friends spent most of leisure time to sit on the soft grass and hear the songs of birds above our head. It was very fantastic senses to enjoy.
However, the best thing about my hometown is the people, whom play an important role in my characteristic. They are kind, hospitable and happy of welcome visitors in for tea. They try to help each other in some difficulties and share happiness in good time. It’s seemed that we are all one big happy family. So, I always feel happy and proud of when I lived with them. Because they help me study the ways to take care of myself and people lives around me. They open my mind and affect on my life to be a good person.
Though I am far from now, I often miss my hometown with beautiful senses and friendly people. I love spending all time on sitting together in the evening and taking comfort with all of the members in my family like when I was a little girl
